Ten-year-old Toda lives above the bakery with her father and grandmother. She is a joyful and resolute girl who loves to help dad bake bread and invent new delicious cookie names. However, one day everything changes: her father is unexpectedly called to defend his country. Toda must take a difficult, adventurous journey to the neighboring country where her mother lives. Along the way, he meets strange people and experiences absurd situations, he also finds a new friend. The film shows the cruelty of armed conflicts through the eyes of an innocent child. It is a universal story, full of warmth and humor, about growing up, escaping from war and seeking security.
